Established AICTE IDEA LAB in the year 2022 for promoting a culture of innovation and experiential learning in Higher education institutions. AICTE IDEA Lab is an initiative by AICTE to promote a culture of innovation and experiential learning in higher education institutions. Aims to nurture innovation-driven learning, hands-on skill development, and entrepreneurship among students and faculty. Lab has 3D Printing, PCB Design, IoT Lab, Drone Manufacturing and Testing, Electrical Measuring and Testing Lab facilities.

CoE in Image Processing & VLSI |
Established in 2016, the Centre of Excellence in Image Processing at SJCIT offers state-of-the-art facilities for advanced research in Image Processing and Computer Vision. Supported by over 30 faculty members and 20 research scholars, the CoE aims to drive interdisciplinary collaboration, industry-focused projects, and high-quality publications. Lab comprising a VLSI Lab with Cadence tools and C2S, along with dedicated MATLAB and Python labs.

Dhritvan Space Lab |
Dhritvan Space Lab was established on 22nd August 2022 in the Department of ECE, with the guidance of Ex-ISRO Scientist Mr. Subramani B. A. The lab houses a satellite ground station with J-pole and Yagi-Uda antennas linked to the SatNogs network for global satellite tracking and weather image decoding (ISS, NOAA, Meteor). It offers internships and projects in antenna design, space technology, and tracking software, giving students practical exposure. Highlights include the Space Explorers Bootcamp (Apr 2025), student innovations at IIT Roorkee, JVTM, and IARU, and visits from universities and schools. Equipped with advanced tools like oscilloscopes, HAM radios, payload models, and computing facilities, the lab has become a hub for space science research, innovation, and learning.

CoE in IoT |
Established in 2023, the Centre of Excellence (CoE) is well-equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including IoT development kits, microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and a dedicated computing infrastructure. Since its inception, the CoE has organized 10 diverse activities such as workshops, certification courses, and hands-on training programs, all conducted in collaboration with industry partners. These initiatives are designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry, enhance practical skills, and foster innovation among students and researchers.

BGS R&D Centre - ECE |
Established in 2016, the center presently hosts 9 research scholars pursuing their Ph.D., with 1 scholar having been awarded the degree in 2022. Its research initiatives have led to several high-quality publications in reputed journals.
